Welcome to another edition of Wednesday Wisdom! I decided to focus my quotes this week on a particular topic. There are lots of stressful and negative things going on in the world right now, so I thought I’d share my favorite happiness quotes today!

I came across this quote this weekend and it resonated with me so much. One thing I’ve noticed about myself is that I tend to smile a lot. I’ve gotten so many compliments and even thank you’s for smiling and being happy. Share your happiness with others – it doesn’t cost you anything.

In the spirit of spring, I wanted to share this happiness quote. We so often seek our own happiness in other people or in things, but to be truly happy, you have to find that within yourself. Focus on improving your self-love, self-care and knowing your self-worth. Once you begin to find happiness in yourself, you’ll start to find it more easily elsewhere.

It might be tough right now, but there are still lots of reasons to be happy. I am safe. I am healthy. I have a job. I can talk to and virtually see my loved ones. I have food. And beyond just the necessities. I am newly married and enjoying it, even in these weird times. I get to help my cousin practice math facts while giggling away. I could go on and on. Even if they’re small, try to find your reasons for being happy.

When you’re happy, there’s a certain glow about you. You radiate warmth, kindness and of course, happiness. I feel so much more beautiful when I’m smiling and laughing with loved ones than I do with my hair done and a face full of makeup. Take this time of social distancing to find your happy and let that be your makeup while at home.

Going back to my earlier comment on smiling – help someone else smile today! It’s hard to do when in public since everyone is wearing masks and you can’t see their facial expressions. Keep your distance, but add in an extra thank you. Tip your delivery drivers well. Cheer up a coworker that’s having a rough day. Maybe tell a joke or two. Sharing your smile will help to make the world a little bit better and doesn’t cost you anything at all.

Even in normal life, we all have problems. In quarantine life, those problems seem to, or may actually, be compounded. Problems don’t just go away but acknowledging and accepting that they’re a part of your life can help let go of some of the burden. Life isn’t perfect and it’s never going to be, but happiness is attainable if you can learn to balance out your problems with some positivity.
I hope you enjoyed these happiness quotes! They’ve definitely got me thinking and smiling today. If you enjoyed, please share on Pinterest/IG/etc.!
